The Role:
Physical TherapistThe Opportunity:
This role provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover, and maintain physical mobility/function within an assigned area.
This clinic serves our local community with variety of needs including sports medicine, vestibular, pediatric, and general orthopedic clientele.
Benefits include six years of monthly student loan reimbursements at $300/month, effective upon hire.
The Work:
Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
Implements the treatment plan using appropriate modalities.
Documents subjective, objective, and assessment findings and plans patient progress.
Educates and counsels the patient and family/caregiver.
Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting.
Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
Supervises and delegates the care provided by physical therapy assistants according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards.
Some employees in this job may operate a motor vehicle to conduct MaineGeneral Health business.
You Have:
Maine State Physical Therapy licensure required.
Maine State Driver's License with clean driving record required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider preferred.
